Sewer Pipe Restoration Methods

Problems within sewer lines are hard to articulate. We maximize your needs by using plumbing cameras to inspect what’s really going on in your system. Once we have an understanding of what we’re dealing with, we can use some of the following sewer pipe restoration methods for your Arizona or Nevada home:

  • Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP): CIPP is a trenchless rehabilitation method where a felt tube is inserted into the affected pipe. The tube is then inflated and cured using hot water, steam, or UV light to form a new, seamless pipe within the old one. This method is suitable for pipes with cracks, leaks, or minor structural damage.
  • Sliplining: Sliplining is a sewer line restoration service that involves inserting a slightly smaller pipe into the existing sewer line. The space between the old and new pipes is then grouted to secure the new liner. Sliplining can reduce the internal diameter of the pipe, which may affect flow capacity. This is effective for long, straight sections of sewer lines.
  • Pipe Bursting: In pipe bursting, a bursting head is pulled through the existing pipe, fracturing it. Then, a new pipe of the same or larger diameter is placed. This method is useful for replacing severely damaged pipes and can increase the capacity of the sewer system.
  • Sewer Line Coating and Lining: Epoxy or polyurethane coatings are sprayed onto the interior of the sewer pipes to seal cracks and prevent corrosion. Cementitious linings can also be applied, which are particularly useful for larger-diameter pipes and manholes.
